Overview[ | ]

Armor calculator here

Armor consists of a helmet, body armor, and boots. Equipping different pieces of armor changes the player's health, run speed, and armor rating.

Run Speed[ | ]

Run speed or movement speed is determined by the armor your character currently has equipped, and the weapon they are currently holding out at the time of movement.

The body armor can determine 98.5% of your speed, whilst the weapon you are holding can not only determine the remaining 1.5%, but can make up for lost speed in armor, being able to take up an extra 8.2% of speed (weapon tag included), making it impossible to gain maximum speed with just one category.

The maximum speed limit is 10.00. All excess run speed gained from weapons and armor will go to waste if over 10.00.

Armor[ | ]

Armor determines the characters head protection and the players health. This is determined solely on your equipped armor and weapon-tags.

Armor determines the damage reduction when the player is hit in the head, and is only effected by the helmet worn. Currently, damage to the players head is multiplied by 2.0, dealing 200% damage. Armor lowers the percentage multiplier.

The maximum health limit is 250 and the highest amount of armor to gain as a custom character is 25%.

Builds[ | ]

Light Build[ | ]

A light build consists of armor pieces that specialized in runspeed only, lowering health to 150 and removing all gear slots.

"Gotta-Go-Fast" build, To get the highest speed possible the following armor pieces are required:

lvl 25 - Overmatch Bonebreaker - Helmet
lvl 16 - Dataluxe BattleVest OS - Body
lvl 31 - The SpeedDemon - Lower Body

Although this is the fastest build, there is another option, a secondary build. This is the fastest build speed while maintaining two slots. This build runs 0.05 points slower and gives 2 more health points.

Secondary speed build requires the following:

lvl 25 - Overmatch Bonebreaker - Helmet
LvL 16 - Dataluxe BattleVest OS - Body
LvL 1 - Dataluxe R2 Skirmisher - Lower Body

The final speed build is know as the Faux speed build. This is due to appearing at first glance like a medium/heavy body type while maintaining a higher speed level of 9.26, 172 health and 3 gear slot.

This Faux build requires the following:

lvl 25 - Overmatch Bonebreaker - Helmet
LvL 5 - Overmatch Titan BattlefrontXsl - Body
lvl 8 - Dataluxe R7 Skirmisher - Lower Body

Medium build[ | ]

A medium build consists of wearing armor that gives you between 190 and 215 heath points and a run speed between 8.00 and 8.99.

The medium build is most common due to the standard issue equipment that a new player will start with is a medium build. This build will give the user 200 health points, 8.50 speed, 15% armor and 2 gear slots.

The most common medium build is known as "Standard Issue"(SI) and requires the following:

SI - Overmatch ArmetX - Helmet
SI - Overmatch Anaconda KX7 - Body
SI - Allied LZ Viper - Lower body

Heavy build[ | ]

A heavy build generally covers anything with 215 to 250 health points, and generally has a running speed below 8.50.

Heavy builds are in some cases considered preferential due to them being able to take more damage then medium builds, and particularly heavy builds are the only ones capable of surviving more powerful weapons like Node-boosted Bolt Action Rifle shots. Any armor set made from Heavy parts will have four equipment slots, though some medium armor can be substituted for more mobility at the cost of less HP without affecting capacity.

Aside from the Guardian Warmonger armor parts, most Heavy gear does not unlock until Level 19 or higher. The Warmonger parts can generally be used for lighter builds with more mobility then higher level parts, which give higher health buffs for noticeably lower stamina and run speed.

Standard Heavy Build

lvl 19 - Dataluxe X-2 Slant - Helmet
LvL 25 - Overmatch Impact CQT - Body
LvL 17 - Overmatch Diamondback - Lower Body

This is one of the few builds to give the full 250HP, but also comes with the lowest run speed and stamina in the game. 250HP allows it to take multiple headshots from most weapons aside from the Combat Rifle and Bolt Action Rifle.

Low Level Heavy Build

Lvl 1 - Dataluxe Breach-X7 - Helmet
Lvl 1 - Guardian Warmonger - Body
Lvl 1 - Guardian Warmonger RC2 - Lower Body

Available at Level 1, this build is slightly more mobile with better run speed and stamina, but has 18 less health, preventing the user from tanking as much damage as the previous build. It also comes with less head armor and a significantly slower HRV recharge.
