Titles

There are various player titles that can be unlocked in Blacklight Retribution. These titles, once unlocked and equipped will be shown underneath the players name on the scoreboard as well as the game lobby.

Currently, Titles are not yet fully working. The only available titles so far are the beta titles ("Beta Tester," "Rotten to the Core,") "Egg Hunter," "Zombie," "Like A Boss," "Aussie," "Kiwi," "Battle Hardened," "Loyalist," and the ZEN-purchased ones.

Unlockable Titles:

• Absent Killer - Get 1000 kills with the Deployable Turret to earn this title.

• Air Supremacy - He who controls the air, controls the battlefield Get 500 kills with the Airstrike weapon to earn this title.

• All I Got Was This Title - What a shame! Earned via Chance Pack

• And All I Got Was This Hardsuit - Reach Level 35 to earn this title.

• Arsonist - Torch 100 enemies out of Hardsuits with the Flamethrower to earn this title.

• Assassin - Kill the high threat on the opposing team 25 times to earn this title.

• Beta Tester - Helped test Blacklight Retribution in Beta! THANKS! Be a Blacklight Retribution Closed Beta Tester to earn this title.

• Blacklight Veteran - You will probably need to play for a long while to get this. Be on the winning team and take first place in every game mode to earn this title.

• Boobytrap - Get 1000 kills with Proximity Mines to earn this title.

• Brings Death From Above - Summon a Hardsuit on an enemy to earn this title.

• Bullet Vendor - It could be worse, you could be an actual vending machine... Drop 50 Ammunition Pods to earn this title.

• Cult Of Personality - Which is what you must have to get 10 friends to level 10! Earned when 10 refered friends reach level 10.

• Corporate Recruiter - You should consider a career change, as you would do well in corporate recruiting. Earned when 50 refered friends reach level 10.

• Data Scout - Spend 1 hour of total playtime in HRV to earn this title.

• Data Thief - Capture the flag 50 times in Capture the Flag to earn this title.

• Deep Pockets - Can't afford Mr.Money Bags title? Maybe you can afford this one, it's not as expensive! Available for purchase. (5000 ZEN)

• Dirty Thirty - Reach Level 30 to earn this title.

• Egg Hunter - Collect all 8 Easter Egg Weapon Tags! (Easter Event)

• Evil Hal - Get 9000 kills with the Deployable Turret to earn this title.

• Exterminator - Exterminate 1000 enemies using Toxic Ammo to earn this title.

• Forward Observer - Summon 50 Airstrikes to earn this title.

• Friends In High Places - So take advantage of your networks. Earned when 5 refered friends reach level 10.

• Full Throttle - Run over an enemy in a Hardsuit to earn this title.

• Gift Of Gab - Your ability to speak convincingly will take you far in life. Earned when 100 refered friends reach level 10.

• Got Crushed? - Be the victim of a Hardsuit-summoning-in-on-top-of you to earn this title.

• Gun For Hire - Accumulate 5000 CP in a single match to earn this title.

• Harbinger Of Death - Earned via Chance Pack

• Headhunter - Do you aim for the face? Take pride and wear this title if you do! Get 1000 headshot kills to earn this title.

• Herald Of Retribution - Go forth and share the good news! Earned when 2000 refered friends reach level 10.

• Highway Bandit - Kill an enemy after they summon a Hardsuit and before they can get in it to earn this title.

• International Merc - Be on the winning team and take first place in every map, in any game mode, to earn this title.

• Laser Guided - Line up a multi-kill with a single shot from the Rail Gun to earn this title.

• Like A Boss - Reach Level 30, like a boss! Reach Level 30 to earn this title.

• Loser - We all get stuck on the losing team from time to time... but 3 times in a row!? Be on the losing team three times in a row earns you this title.

• Medical Necessity - Kill 25 enemies with the Heal Injector to earn this title.

• Mr.Moneybags - Buy this title from the story! Its really cheap! Available for purchase (10000 ZEN).

• On Fire - He's on fire! (or she...) Get torched out of a Hardsuit 100 times to earn this title.

• Once Bitten - ...twice shy? Shank someone with a Combat Knife Mk.2 to earn this title.

• Patient Zero - Zombies... get it? Get killed by someone who has already the the Patient Zero title to earn this Title. (Only Developers start with this title.)

• Professional Advocate - For advocating the cause. Earned when 30 refered friends reach level 10.

• Propaganda Machine - You could easily run a small dictatorial nation! Earned when 500 refered friends reach level 10.

• Pyromaniac - Get 1000 kills with the Flamethrower to earn this title.

• Railed - Get 1000 kills with the Railgun to earn this title.

• Recruiter - Thanks for telling your friend! Earned when a refered friend reaches level 10.

• Road Kill - Get run over by a charging Hardsuit to earn this title.

• Rotten to the Core - I Alpha Tested Core Client and all I got was this Title. Be a Blacklight Retribution Closed Beta Tester to earn this title.

• Silent Sentinel - Get 5 kills with a turret, without dying and without firing any of you weapon to earn this title.

• Silver Tongue - You should run for president, seriously. Earned when 1000 refered friends reach level 10.

• Son Of A Preacher Man - Yes he was, he was. Earned when 40 refered friends reach level 10.

• Sore Loser - Get first place on the losing team 10 times to earn this title.

• Spin to Win - Get 1000 kills with the Mini-Gun (depot based) to earn this title.

• Street Brawler - Get 15 kills with melee weapon in a single match to earn this title.

• Tango Down - Die 15 times in a single match to be shamed with this title.

• The Bear Claw - Get 500 kills with the Grenade Launcher to earn this title.

• The Cleaner - Kill every member of the opposing team at least once, during a ranked match, to earn this title.

• The Destroyer - Become a luddite and destroy any and all Hardsuits you find... this is until you earn this title. Destroy 10 Hardsuits to earn this title.

• The Doctor - This will make you a real team player... unless you just use it on yourself. Heal 20,000 total health with the Heal Injector to earn this title.

• The Phantom - Use Stealth Cloak for 2 hours of total play time to earn this title.

• Unavoidable - Kill 4 enemies with a single grenade to earn this title.

• Vindicator - Get 50 revenge kills to earn this title.

• With Friends Like These... - ... You will go a long ways! Earned when 3 refered friends reach level 10.

• With The Horde - With the horde at your back, you are unstoppable! Earned when 20 refered friends reach level 10.

• Zombie - Only undeath will unlock this title for you... Work as a developer at Zombie to earn this title.
